Cross-Border Police Human Trafficking Meeting
FED
staff team attended the 10th bilateral meeting between the Myanmar
Police Force (MPF) and Department of Special Investigation (DSI) of
Thailand about cross border human trafficking on 19-21 March, 2014 at
Baan Anphawa Resort and Spa in Samut Songkhram province. FED was invited
by DSI to share about the work we are doing to combat human trafficking
in Thailand as well as to the pressing challenges and problems facing
the fight against human trafficking. We made recommendations to both
governments about how to collaborate to improve law and policy to
effectively eliminate human trafficking.
